About Us

Every business, just like every superhero, has an origin story and GoCodeGreen is no different

GoCodeGreen’s journey started whilst collaborating on a new web application. During the process our founder asked the pointed question “shouldn’t we be measuring the impact of this software as we build it?”

There was much nodding and some scratching of heads amongst the team, leading to some investigation and the realisation that we should be and that no-one was measuring its environmental impact. Thus GoCodeGreen was born.

Now 2 years later, we are a 2 times Earthshot prize nominee, partnered with the ITU, the United Nations specialised agency for Information and Communication Technology; and a Certified B Corporation.

Why decarbonise

Digital Decarbonisation, isn’t digital green?

It might not seem obvious but all digital technology is making an impact on our global carbon emissions, in fact by 2030 it’s expected that it will account for more than 20% of all electricity usage. At GCG we provide actionable insights on how you can reduce your ICT estate's impact.

GoCodeGreen is a world leading, independent ClimateTech company focused on measuring and identifying actions to reduce the carbon and environmental impact of digital products and services. Our mission is to help decarbonise the digital world in which we all now live.

We are Earthshot Prize nominated, partnered with the ITU, the United Nations specialised agency for Information and Communication Technology, and we are a Certified B Corporation.
